It is no surprise that Fall season makes us think of two things: Pumpkin Spice Latte (PSL) and “Sweater” weather. So this year, I created a mini PSL themed dessert table! Of course, my dessert table includes PSL drinks! Creating this table was fun and so simple. The cute desk I used was found at HomeGoods for only $150. With this, I am able to use it as an office desk (which I don’t think will happen anytime soon), a dessert table, place card table for weddings, gift table, and more. The possibilities are endless. The desk is already appealing to the eye that you only need minimal decor to make it stand out. Just the style makes a huge difference.
If you are new to my site, welcome! You will notice that many times, I use different kinds of cake stands, but they are usually by Amalfi Decor. Check them out and see what they have: cake stands, chandeliers , candle holders and more. Their prices are definitely affordable especially for the great quality they are made of. In this post, I used my silver cake stand and my decorative tray to display my drinks. For dessert, I teamed up with my favorite bakery, Katella Bakery to dress up my cake stand. I didn’t need much as you can see. All I had were two different sizes of cupcakes and just a few macarons.
Location / Setting is very important to me when it comes to styling an event, display table, dessert bar, etc. It helps me determine what decorations and props I would need to make the table stand out. For my PSL dessert table, I decided to go to El Dorado Park, which is in the city of Long Beach, CA. The park itself was huge! But after driving for a few minutes around and scouting for the perfect location, I finally found a spot that had a nice scenic view in the background. Since I knew I would be surrounded by trees, I knew I wouldn’t need to bring much props.
