We used a day off from school to celebrate a kids themed Friendsgiving for my daughter and her friends. We served kid-friendly fare with comfort foods. For the party table, I created a runner by sewing together a couple beautiful fall napkins. The colors of the table runner were easy to incorporate into the place settings by using the orange pumpkin bowls, mint colored plates and copper utensils. I love having some fun crafts and activities to keep the party going. For Adeline’s Friendsgiving party, she wanted to bake pies. It was so much fun having the girls roll out their dough and create their own mini apple pies which they could take home with them. For another activity I thought it would be fun to make pumpkin flower arrangements. I purchased a bunch of sugar pie pumpkins at the grocery store and stopped by the Flower Market to pick up an assortment of beautiful flowers. The morning of the party I hollowed out the pumpkins and dropped in little canning jars. The girls had so much fun putting together their own pumpkin flower arrangements. We also made caramel apples at our apple station and adorable hand printed turkeys. Everyone had a blast celebrating their friendship!
