Words I Go By.

“You are Kind, You are Smart, You are Important” The Help movie, 2011.

Sometimes we just need to stop and remind ourselves to push and keep moving forward to reach our goals and dreams. Using my letter tiles from Krumpets, I displayed a few words that came to mind.

In this age of day, its safe to say that no one wants to work a ‘9-5pm’ job. Everyone I know has the mindset of having their own businesses and making it out on their own. I know that I can say that about myself—and its not easy! There has been countless times when I wondered what it would of been like if I wasn’t a entrepreneur. There has been times when I would breakdown emotionally due to frustration because I saw a lack of progress or if things weren’t going as fast as I want them to be. But at the end of the day, I realized that despite it all, I LOVE doing what I do. (For those of you who don’t know, I am a wedding planner and owner of Dean Bernard Events.) I love being part of my clients lives and helping them create a memorable wedding or event. I love styling and designing, and I love being able to be my own boss and to challenge myself.

The words I listed above and what you see in the photos are words that you should always remember. Ask yourself, ‘what’s your PASSION?’ What do you enjoy doing and what makes you happy? STRIVE to reach your goals. Set mini goals to help you get to your ultimate goal. Don’t settle. There will be times of frustrations where you would want to give up. There will be times when you question and doubt everything you’re doing. But as long as you LOVE what you’re doing and find JOY in it, you’ll make it through and everything will be worth it. Be PATIENT. It’s all a process and you have to have patience. If your goals and dreams were easy, then anyone can have the same thing and do the same. At the end of the day, all of your hard work will pay off and you’ll be more appreciative of what you have and have accomplished. COMMIT to your goals. Don’t feel discourage. Lastly, throughout the process of working for your goals, remember to stay HUMBLE–even once you make it to the top.
