Classic Country Club Inspired Wedding

There are so many wedding venues around the world and choosing one for your wedding is one of the most difficult phases in the wedding planning process. Country clubs are one of the most common types where many hold their reception in. If you happen to be in the Southern California area, then you definitely need to check out Vellano Country Club. Last week, I shared with you a wedding styled shoot at the same venue, which took place outside at the Vellano’s ceremony area. For this next styled shoot, we did things a little bit differently.

Before I continue, I must say, it was just AMAZING to work with Kyrsten of Kyrsten Ashlay Photography. She is local and did a beautiful job capturing all of the details of this wedding photoshoot. I originally was impressed with her work when I had to find the perfect photographer. When looking at her website, I saw how she captured moments with perfect lighting despite the time of day it was. Her photos were also clear, clean, and crisp with details in the photos standing out. That was what I was looking for exactly. Kyrsten continued to impress me via email when she had mentioned that she would bring flat-lays and props! I love working with vendors who are on top of it and always prepared!

After you see all of the photos below, check out her website HERE, to see more of her portfolio! You might even want to have her at your next event!

Invitations

Dean Bernard Events is a partner of the invitation company: Basic Invites. Basic Invites made it easy for me when it came to selecting the perfect suite for this wedding. I ultimately chose their DIP DYE designed and customized it with details of the wedding and color.

The Bride and the Dress

The dress, which was from Isabelle Bridal Gowns, was stunning! The A-line gown had cascading flower detailing giving it a whimsical vibe to it. The hair and make up by Suzy of Upside Right
Bridal and Beauty
worked her magic on our bride giving her a natural look with neutral make up and a loose updo hair style. Suzy’s services also included touch ups, so for those of you brides looking for an make up artist who is dedicated to keeping you gorgeous all day, contact her and see her work!

Ceremony

Vellano Country Club has a few options when it comes to hosting your wedding ceremony. They are most popular for their Rotunda area which is outdoors that has an amazing view of Chino Hills. However, depending on what time of the year you have your wedding, weather must always be considered. Will it rain? Will it be too hot outside for guests? At this venue, instead of having a ceremony outdoors, we decided to have one inside. It turned out being gorgeous! It is the perfect option if it does happen to rain or if it is too hot for guests to be out in the sun! Take a look below at how Robert of Events by Floral Sensation decorated the country club’s lobby!

Reception

Just through the ceremony and out the double doors, is this stunning table we put together. I love how everything turned out. When designing this shoot, I wanted a style that would be timeless, elegant, while at the same time, work with all of the natural elements of the outdoor patio. With the overall look, I think we did just that! The main colors I chose were sage, gold, and ivory. Glitzy Event Rentals provided the perfect velvet linens and flatware. As for the crossback chairs, if you are a client of Vellano, you can upgrade your standard chiavari chairs to these!

Dessert Table

You already know I LOVE desserts, so creating a dessert table for this venue was exciting! There were so many places to have the table stationed but I ended up finding this little area that has a beautiful view of the back. What stood out to me was the arch that framed the railing of the balcony. My Amalfi Decor cake stands housed the delicious desserts that were catered by Katella Bakery.
