An Intimate Warehouse Wedding

An Intimate Warehouse Wedding

Color Theme: Coral, Pinks, and Gold with a touch of white and gray

2019 is all about colors! So for this wedding-styled shoot, I teamed up with amazing creative vendors to showcase just that. Located in Carson, CA, a new event space named Gallery 1145 opened its doors to those wanting to have an small gathering or event. Not many would think to have a wedding in a blank room but I found that it was the perfect setting for us to go all out. You really don’t need to have spend tens and thousands of dollars to make your event look over the top. All you need are the right team of people to execute the vision you had and an open mind!

One of the first things you’ll notice in this wedding photoshoot are balloons. Although balloons are thought to only be used for birthdays or children’s parties, you’d be surprised to what you can do with the balloons to make it more formal! Balloons were definitely the center of attention is this colorful reception. I worked with Balloon Lab and they are the best! I had a vision of balloons hanging from the ceiling and just like that, they did it perfectly. Mixed with different sizes of balloons, the balloon garland hovered over the two dinner tables.

These beauties were by Katella Bakery! They always know how to put a smile on my face whenever I work with them in any project. For this wedding shoot, they provided the stunning wedding cake, macaron tower, cake pops, cupcakes, and mini cake shots. My two crystal cake stands are by Amalfi Decor.

For the ceremony area, I wanted to opt out of having chairs for the guests. Instead, we used these comfortable, white, cushion benches from Vini’s Party Rentals. It gives the whole ceremony a more modern feel to it! For the altar, we repurposed this gray textured backdrop by Event Engineers, and framed it with beautiful fresh florals by Classics Flowers and Confections. The orange is the pop of color we needed! I also incorporated floating candles in multi-sized cylinder vases around the column to give a sort of “balance” at the altar.

Photobooth Fun!

Primo Prints is a growing photo booth company that has continued to impress me since the time we were introduced to one another. As a wedding planner, working with a company who caters to the client and is flexible to their needs is always the best. Primo Prints understood my vision and worked with me to create a look that would fit perfectly with the wedding shoot. See below for more photos of their booth set up and of our bride and groom having fun with it!
