I finally get to share with you my Christmas tree at home! You’ll notice that it’s pretty similar to what I did last year but this time, it’s fuller, I included more elements, and just a tad bit out there! If you’re like me, you’re on a tight budget for the holiday season, saving up for gifts. So this year, instead of completely changing the style and ornaments for my tree, I decided to keep the same exact ornaments that I used last year and just added a few new ones that are bigger and bolder. I also removed the green hydrangeas that I added last year and used poinsettias and other floral stems. Around the tree, I kept the wooden trees and sleigh, and just added drummer boys.

On the left of my tree you’ll see a small side table with a bowl of pine cones and twinkle lights. As a wedding planner, I get to keep props and sometimes small furniture from previous events. So instead of keeping them in storage, I repurposed them and used it as another decoration piece next to my tree. This is perfect for those who need a small centerpiece for their coffee table or dining table. Just find a nice glass bowl, urn, or vase and fill it up with a bunch or pine cones or ornaments. For lights, you can find battery operated string-lights at your local crafts store or home decor store such as Home Goods or Joanns or Michaels. All you have to do is spread the string in between the pinecones or ornaments and you’re all set!
