Fall wouldn’t be as sweet without having delicious desserts! I created this Fall themed dessert table with the help of my friends at Katella Bakery who made all of these yummy treats! From the cake to pies, their bakery can do it all. Just as I did for my Pumpkin Spice Latte Bar, I styled this dessert table at El Dorado Park in Long Beach. I just love this park and how open it is! If you are ever in the area, check the park out. My family and I always have outings here! They even have a dog park that is clean and always maintained. I will probably share with you all a simple post about that in the near future.
This Fall themed dessert table was one of my favorites. All thanks to my focal point which is the cake! The detailing of the 3-tiered cake is incredible. Take a look below to see photos of the cake!
Aside from the cake, I used wooden cake stands that I found at HomeGoods, to display a variety of different treats. On one stand, I had cupcakes and macarons, while on the other, I displayed cupcakes with a gorgeous orange colored frosting topped with a fondant leaf. For the others, I used my wooden slabs that I had bought years ago from Michaels Crafts stores. I bought these slabs in separate pieces which is why it isn’t with an actual base/stand under it. On these flat wooden slabs, I placed deco-cookies of different shapes and design. Some were leafs, pumpkins, flowers, and even coffee mug-shaped! No Fall setting is complete without pies! I simply had my pies in front of the cake.
Not much is needed at all when styling this shoot. Especially since the background makes a difference! I just used a few hay bales on one side with pumpkins, and my favorite letter board from Adam&Co on the opposite side.
