Jocelyn Marie Photography showcases a hot 2017 summer trend: desert vibes & scenery, succulents, and wood accents. Alfonso and Lauren wed a year and a half ago, and a few short months before her beloved had to deploy. Just because the deployment is over, doesn’t mean the honeymoon phase has to be. Alfonso was excited to get all dressed up while on post deployment leave. I was eager to work with an energetic, dependable couple. I had envisioned a natural bride: with little to no makeup, natural hair, beautiful complexion, and wore it all with confidence. Lauren fit that mold perfectly. She was appreciative of finding a photographer who wanted a very raw, natural beauty. The couple was eager to assist with outfit coordination, while I got crafty and made the bouquet. Stephanie Culver with Tres Leches Cakes & Cupcakes created the cake for the shoot, and continued the theme of simplicity, and succulents. I have to admit that Alfonso stole the show by bringing high energy to the shoot, creating an environment of laughter, positive energy, and pure bliss.
